MISSOURI MEDICARE
SUPPLEMENT PLANS
Medicare supplement plans can work to cover gaps from your traditional medicare coverage. Medicare may, in some instances, not cover things such as co-pays, doctors visits, deductibles for hospitalization and other places where Medicare insurance does not pick up the full tab. These plans are also known as Medigap plans, due to their capacity to close the gaps in Medicare plans.
Supplemental insurance to assist with unexpected expenses resulting from lapses in coverage while on Medicare can be very cost effective. Be sure to discuss your options with your health insurance agent, so you know the risks and potential liabilities resulting from not having a supplemental policy. Retirement is fraught with peril, but with proper coverage health care expenses can become a very predictable part of your finances.
